Please find information below on attending the Communicable Diseases Control Conference 2019.

Upon arrival, please ensure you collect your conference satchel and name badge at the registration desk. Delegates must wear their lanyard at all times during the conference.
The Conference registration desk will be located in the Atrium, Level 1 of the Hyatt Hotel Canberra and will be open from the following times:
Tuesday 19 November:
Pre-Conference Workshop Registration Part 1 - 8:00am - 10:00am, The Atrium
Pre-Conference Workshop Registration Part 2 - 12:30pm - 2:00pm, The Atrium
Conference Registration - 5:30pm - 6:30pm, The Atrium
Wednesday 20 November: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Thursday 21 November: 8:00am - 3:30pm

We are pleased to be able to offer an Event App that can be used during the Conference to view the agenda, abstracts and speakers for the Conference as well as contact each other.

Once you have downloaded the app, type in the event code: cdc19. You will then have access to the Communicable Diseases Control Conference app.
Once you are on the event app you can log into the app with your registration details to customise the app and make your own agenda. If you have any questions, please visit the Conference Registration desk.
The Conference App has the ability to connect with other delegates. Please click on 'Share Contact Details' and select to 'Opt In' to share your contact details or 'Opt Out'. Delegates that have opted in will be visible in 'Attendees'.
You can also connect with other delegates using the 'Contact Exchange' function in the Conference App.

Time: 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Cost: A ticket can be purchased for $85.00. Tickets must be shown for entry
A special Keynote presentation will be held at the Dinner.
Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided throughout the night. Alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase.
Morning/Afternoon Tea and Lunch will be served in the Gallery & Atrium, Level 1.
Dietary Requirements: The venue will be been notified of any dietary requirements delegates have provided PHAA during the online registration process. If you have a dietary requirement and have not yet notified PHAA, please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible to ensure provisions can be made.
A copy of the delegate list (excluding contact details) can be downloaded here, please note the list is correct at the time of printing. We also encourage delegates to download the Conference App, using the links above, to network and engage with delegates and speakers while at the Conference.
Speakers Preparation Room
If you are presenting an oral presentation and need to upload your PowerPoint slides, please proceed to the Speakers Preparation area will be located in the Assembly Room, Level 1.

The dress code for the conference is smart casual. Please note that the venue can become cold at times so please bring along a wrap or jumper just in case.
A Conference evaluation will be emails at the end of the Conference, we ask all delegates to complete the evaluation form. Feedback can also be given at the registration desk at the Conference by completing the feedback form and adding it to the feedback box.
